The S.C.O.P.E. Division (Sheriff’s Community Outreach Programs and Education) was created by Sheriff Tim Pounds in January of 2017 to facilitate better relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and our community that we serve. Our mission is to provide resources, education, and training to both our Corrections Officers, Deputy Sheriffs, and to members of our community that we serve and protect. The S.C.O.P.E. Division has several components including Community Outreach, D.A.R.E. Program, and the Sex Offender Unit. Any questions or comments regarding the sex offender registry can be directed to Lt. Joe Pounds or Deputy Matt Wilson. We are available to speak at any community or business function and can provide resources and training on a variety of topics.
