Earlier this month, one of our inmate work crews helped to add on to the concession stand at the Chestnut Log Soccer Complex.
Relay For Life was this past Saturday, and one of our inmate work crews helped set up for the event.

One of our inmate work crews helped pour two concrete slabs for storage buildings being built at Chestnut Log soccer fields.
An inmate work crew from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office worked to add a pavilion behind the Dog River Library. The new walking trails and pavilion will be open for public use on April 29th. The Douglas County Sentinel has an article with more details on their Facebook page.
One of our inmate work crews recently gave the Coroner’s office, landfill and animal shelter signs a fresh coat of paint.

Yesterday, an inmate work crew was out at Jessie Davis Park repairing the sidewalk at the pool.
An inmate work crew recently worked to repair and repaint the Deer Lick Park concession stand.
Another of our inmate work crews recently worked to clear the retention pond behind the Woodie Fite Senior Center.
Last week’s storms took out several trees and large limbs in the downtown Douglasville and Courthouse areas. Our inmate work crews were called out to help with the cleanup which included clearing a tree off a vehicle.

The gymnasium at Deer Lick received some sprucing up for the Daddy & Daughter/Fairy Princess Ball on Feb 10th. Some of our inmates were on hand to string the lights and set up the prop pieces.
One of our inmate work crews worked to clean up the Winn-Enterkin cemetery on Mann Rd. We have a crew work meet with the cemetery committee each Thursday. There are around 60 cemeteries within the county that our crews maintain.
