ServPro Disinfects Patrol Cars

On April 16, 2020, the ServPro of Central and Northwest Georgia team came out to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to disinfect the interiors of our patrol cars. This cleaning goes beyond a simple car cleanout and interior detailing. Their procedures and products follow the CDC recommendations. According to their website:

“The CDC recommends usage of a labeled hospital-grade disinfectant with claims against similar pathogens to the coronavirus. Multiple products in the SERVPRO product line carry the EPA-approved emerging pathogens claims. While there is currently no product tested against this particular strain of the coronavirus, we are following all guidelines as provided by the CDC and local authorities.”

Sheriff Tim Pounds and especially our Patrol Division are incredibly grateful for Ricky Wilson and his staff for donating their time and materials, including washable/reusable N95-equivalent masks, to keep our deputies safe during these unprecedented times.
