EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF REAL INVESTIGATION

Have you ever wanted to step into the shoes of a detective and solve a real crime? The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is offering you that unique opportunity with our "Investigator for a Day" experience!

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Your investigative journey begins with a phone call - just like our real investigators receive. You'll have one hour to respond to an undisclosed crime scene location, where you'll work alongside our professional Crime Scene Investigators for 3-4 hours of hands-on detective work.

Your Experience Timeline:

Response Call:

Receive location and respond within 1 hour
Crime Scene Investigation:

1½-2 hours collecting and analyzing evidence
Case Work:

Move to Sheriff's Office conference room for debriefing
Lunch Break:

Enjoy a meal in our dining hall
Case Resolution:

Present your findings and solution

Eligibility:

Ages 16 and older Tickets: $10 each (maximum 5 tickets per person) Winners: 2 participants selected Experience Dates: July 21st and July 22nd, 2025 (one winner per day) Ticket Sales Deadline: July 16th, 2025 at 5:00 PM Live Drawing: July 16th, 2025 at 5:00 PM on our Facebook page @DCSheriffGA

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

Winners must complete a liability waiver
Background check required prior to participation
Must be available for your assigned date (July 21st or 22nd)
Must be able to respond to crime scene location within 1 hour of notification
