UPDATE (04-28-2021 @ 11:57am): At approximately 11:00 hours Inmate Letitia Lynn Bishop was located and captured in Fulton County by Douglas County deputies and members of the U.S. Marshals Service. Sheriff Pounds would like to thank everyone who assisted in the apprehension of this inmate including those officers who worked long hours to have her back in custody in less than 24 hours. He said “You may run from Douglas County, but you can’t hide.”
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office had a female trusty walk off from her detail at the Sheriff’s Office around 11:35 hours this morning. She was last seen walking towards Fairburn Road wearing black leggings, grey t-shirt with print on the front and black shoes. Her name is Letitia Lynn Bishop and is described as a white female, 46 years old, 5′ 4″, and 125 lbs. She was in jail on nonviolent charges and is not considered to be a danger to the community.
