The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office would like to recognize the Employees of the Month for October 2020. They are Sr. Deputy Andre French from the Division 280 – Patrol Division and Deputy Jordan Thackston from Division 281 – Courthouse Security. Each month, the Command Staff reviews nominations submitted to them by co-workers, supervisors, and the public, before voting on their selection. The winners are selected for performance that is considered above and beyond what is expected of them, and their contribution to the agency and the community. The winners are awarded one day off with pay, a letter of recognition, and use of a conveniently located parking spot at the office. Nancy’s Pizza of Douglasville also recognizes their hard work by providing the winners with a free pizza of their choice.
