At the beginning of the school year, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Douglas County School System reinstated the DARE program in our elementary schools. Today, the first fifth grade D.A.R.E. class in Douglas County in over a decade graduated the program at Bright Star Elementary led by Deputy Hutcheson. We are so proud of the fifth grade, the essay representatives and our relationship with our schools. Congratulations to everyone. More graduations will follow!
