Today, one of our own, Rotarian Joe Williams, member of the Douglas County Rotary Club and Investigator with the Douglas County Sheriffs Office delivered 495 bookbags to A Gift of Love. A Gift of Love has a Book Bag Food Program that serves over 30 elementary, middle and high schools in Douglas County, which feeds approximately 556 children every week! Through their hard work and dedication to making sure no child is left hungry, their volunteers make sure local children are sent home with a bag of food for every day they are out of school.
