FUGITIVE DIVISION
This division is staffed by plain clothed investigators whose primary job is to apprehend known fugitives who attempt to hide in and around Douglas County. Additionally, these investigators work closely with law enforcement agencies throughout the country to locate and apprehend fugitives wanted on Douglas County charges.
In addition to its local efforts, one member of the fugitive division works with a multi-jurisdictional task force to apprehend fugitives Nationwide. This effort is coordinated under the jurisdiction of the United States Marshals Service.

WARRANT DIVISION
The primary responsibility of the Warrant Division is the processing and execution of criminal arrest warrants and assisting other law enforcement agencies in and around Douglas County. When a criminal warrant is received in the Warrant Division an immediate process begins towards the execution of the warrant. This process includes recording the warrant in the Sheriff’s Office computer database, identifying the suspect, checking the criminal history of the suspect and placing the wanted person on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. Once this process has been completed, the warrant is assigned to uniform deputies or to the Fugitive Section where attempts are made to locate and apprehend the wanted person.

These photos were still shots from security footage, collected from a location near Zealand Pl, Douglasville, GA. This individual is a suspect in several entering autos in our jurisdiction. This male is a light-skinned, black male with multiple face tattoos.

BOLO: Crossroads Store Robbery
On 08/26/25 at approximately 0400, an Armed Robbery occurred at Crossroads store in Villa Rica, GA. The suspect in the green pants, presented a black firearm shown in the image. He was described as a white male with a mustache. The two suspects shown, left on a blue 4 wheeler with big tires and white rims. They were captured on FLOCK images heading north into Paulding County.
