Committee evaluated qualifications of all bids received and made a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners to accept a joint contract between Citigroup and Suntrust in order to obtain the most qualified bidder (Citigroup) and provide local participation (Suntrust-Atlanta). The BOC awarded a split contract as recommended by the committee.

King and Spalding was recommended and accepted by the Board of Commissioners for a set fee of $45,000.00 and out-of-pocket expenses not to exceed $2500.00.

The Board of Commissioners accepted the recommendation of the committee and selected HO & K. The negotiated contract for total architectural and engineering services are as follows:

• HO & K fees: $4,725,000.00

Additional allowances under this contract include the following with 0.00% mark-up:

Geothermal analysis: $45,000.00
Geotechnical soil analysis/surveying services: $75,000.00
Seismic analysis: $3,500.00
Required materials testing & inspections: $1,000,000.00
